Level Of Experience Needed

These trips are for everybody with sailing experience.  Advantageous if you have had previous sailing experience on the Mediterranean Sea, especially for those who have already sailed in known flotilla areas such as Lefkas, Corfu or the Saronic Gulf and are looking for a new challenge!

Your flotilla leader and host will be sailing on the lead yacht. He will take care of the preparation of this exciting trip and the planning.  Your Host will assist you on your flotilla trip, but of course you are responsible for you own yacht.

As skipper and co skipper you should be able and confident to sail the yacht on your own, which means the following:

  • You can navigate;
  • You can moor a yacht on your own;
  • Have experience to sail by night;
  • You have no problems entering new harbours, by night;
  • You can manage small repairs on the yacht.

Your level of experience would be required on booking.

Prefer A Yacht With A Skipper?

If you are not experienced (enough) you can charter a yacht with a skipper. This is such a unique way to sail with friends and family, spending 2 to 4 weeks sailing from Lefkas to Athens via the Peloponnesus and back through the Channel and Gulf of Corinth.  What a fantastic opportunity, and you will pick up sailing tips and maybe even learn enough to flotilla sail with us again at another time.

The Fleet

All the Bavaria yachts are new and equipped with a total inventory, a cooling unit, one or two toilets, a galley, a navigation corner and chart table, VHF, first aid kit, safety equipment as a life raft, fire extinguishers and a dinghy.
See the full details of selected charter yachts here.

The Itinerary

You will have the time to enjoy all the special cultural experiences Greece has to offer.
No rushing, no missing out on the best places to visit - plenty of time to explore.
